So another big deal promo is starting at A&P/Pathmark on Kruncher Potato Chips. Must have in every store! On their display planner! Danger, Will Robinson! Naturally, the warehouse only has one of the 6 flavors in stock.
Me: "We seem to be out of the chips I'm told to display in all A&P and Pathmarks. Got any more around here?"
Pete: "No. And I don't have any ordered for next week either."
As if that's supposed to appease me. So yet another paid for promo with absolutely no support on the distributor end. Last week it was the big deal pretzel canisters that HAD to be displayed in every AP/PM for a 6 week period. So where's the product? Oh, we don't have any, and again, none ordered for next week. Maybe we can get some in on Thursday.
This after I cajole the stores for displays, only to have to tell them that I'm inept, can't do my job, and don't actually have any sale product. So be sure to ignore any requests I have in the future.
